Klegg Electronics (who?) yesterday announced their lineup of plasma displays. The lineup includes 42, 50, 55, and 63 inch models. Wow - 63″ is bigger than my rear-projection HDTV. You hear these numbers bandied about, but when a display that size is in your room, you just think WOW! Klegg’s plasma lineup is available as of…. now!
The 63″ display is huge size-wise, but not resolution-wise. It’s weighs in at 1366 x 768. But it does have an HDMI input, though no mention is made of its 1080p acceptability.

Klegg to launch new electronics line in January called GENESIS
Klegg Electronics announced that they will be launching a new line of flat panel televisions, speaker systems, mini MP3 players, and digital video MPEG4 players starting in early January of 2007 and calling it the GENESIS line.
These new products will target a broader range of consumers offering the same quality components as Klegg’s high end products but at a lower price point.
The first set of GENESIS products will appear in retail chains, various Internet stores and on the Klegg website starting on January 8th, 2007 - guess they have no plans on hitting the holiday season.

LAS VEGAS –(Business Wire)– Dec. 1, 2006 Klegg Electronics, Inc. (Pink Sheets:KLGE) announced the launch date of its new GENESIS line of flat panel televisions, speaker systems and Klegg mini MP3 and digital video MPEG4 players. The new Klegg GENESIS products will feature the same quality components as the high-end high-performance Klegg Electronics line but will be geared toward a broader consumer electronics market with lower pricing and greater retail distribution. The first GENESIS flat panel televisions, speakers and Klegg mini MP3 players will appear in retail chains, on various internet e-tailers, and on the new Klegg GENESIS web-site on January 08, 2007.
To date, the Klegg Electronics product line has been classified as high-end and high-performance with features like Klegg’s next generation Smart Home Technology, that allow multiple TVs, Media Players and audio products to communicate with each other over the internet. Prior to the launch of GENESIS, the Company’s primary channel for distribution of its products has been specialty high-end retailers and custom installers.
